Ferrofluid is used for heat control of driving parts and damping control.
Ferrofluid is a functional material that was developed by the Space Program in the 1960s, although it is a liquid, it is magnetized by an external magnetic field and has the property of being attracted to a magnet.
It is extremely effective in radiating heat from drive parts such as speaker coils, and has been used for almost all high-frequency reproduction speakers (tweeters) for many years, including on-board applications.
In recent years, applications such as vibration control of tactile devices for touch screen panels and recycling of automobile scraps (precision weight difference sorting) have expanded to a wide range of applications.
